The Sports and Societies Federation costs £5 per year to join. Once you are a member of the Federation, you can join any of the sports and societies or even start up your own. Each sport club or society has a joining fee ranging from £2.50 to £35.00 depending on what it involves. This joining fee, together with the £5 per year all goes into giving each club and society their own budget to spend on their activities.
