| What is Buddying? |
Settling in quickly and feeling comfortable is crucial to getting the most out of your studies here, as well as enjoying life in London. The difficulties that new students experience can affect their happiness and their academic achievement.
The Buddying scheme offers new students the opportunity to be buddied by a current student at University of the Arts London. Buddies volunteer their time to share their experiences and offer extra support for new students, in a new city, at a new and unknown stage in their life.
Buddying is not just for Pathfinding week. Different students find they need support at different times in the year - you can apply to be buddied at any time of the year and we will do our best to find a buddy for you.

I Want To Be A Buddy!
We always welcome applications from students wishing to be Buddies. As students of the University, Buddies are well placed to understand the struggles new students face.
Being a Buddy is about sharing the information you wish you'd known when you first started! It's also a great opportunity to contribute to University life, develop new skills and meet new people!
