The Women Students' Assembly represents all female students at UAL, reporting & campaigning on issues that relate specifically to them.
This Assembly works to combat sexism in all its forms and to ensure that women's voices are heard respected and acted upon.
They also hold regular social and networking events to create a stronger community at SUARTS as well as raising awareness and educating fellow students and staff at UAL.
NUS hold an annual women’s conference. SUARTS pay for a number of students from the Women’s assembly to attend this conference. It’s a fantastic opportunity for you to network with other Women who are campaigning in the student movement, its great fun and you will also pick up lots of info around what the current issues are, statistics and campaigns.
