The UAL Freshers Festival 2011 is creeping closer and we need your help!
We need your expertise and college knowledge to make our new students feel welcome and get to know their new surroundings. If you are interested in re-living Freshers week (or throwing yourself in at the deep end first time round!), and getting into some stuff for free, register your interest atfreshers@su.arts.ac.uk

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
When is it?
The Freshers Festival is from Sunday 25th September to Sunday 2nd October inclusive.
What will I have to do? Volunteers will take on a range of different roles helping to provide information and advice to new students, leading students on tours & events, encourageing students to get involved, helping with events and stewarding at events and within the Big fayre.
How much time do I have to give?
We would like volunteers to give as much time as they can during the week. Most volunteers will be volunteering for four full days (broken into four hour shifts during the week)
Where will I be based?
Volunteers will be on College sites, at the new Student Hub in High Holborn, and leading tours/activities around London. This will give you the chance to do diffeernt activities around London. Travel, refreshments and food is covored under expenses dependant on the number of hours you are volunteering for.

Will my expenses be covered?
We will covor all reasonable travel expenses including travel from your local residence to the site at which you are volunteering. When volunteering for the whole day we will reimburse you up to £4 for lunch expenses and £2 for other refreshments. All volunteers will be required to wear Freshers Festival clothing which we will supply and you will be allowed to keep at the end of the week. You will get free entry to a major event along with the party beforehand as a thank you for all your hard work.
