► Sound Environmental Impact Awards Scheme

The Sound Environmental Impact Awards are an environmental accreditation scheme with an awards element designed specifically for Students’ Unions. The scheme seeks to encourage, nurture, reward and celebrate good environmental practice in Students’ Unions.  It is run by the National Union of Students' commercial arm; NUS' Services Ltd (NUSSL). See www.nussl.co.uk.  These awards are a national standard for Students’ Unions and are widely accepted as the award to achieve.

 

2009/10 - SUARTS IS AWARDED BRONZE STANDARD

 

This year an amazing 83 unions took part in Sound Impact making it the most successful year yet. Of these, 55 gained the Silver standard by meeting the 23 Bronze and 12 Silver criteria and achieving an overall score of 420 or more.   To see how we measure up against other Unions download our feedback report.
