We are looking for students to get involved with Pathfinding by helping new students find their way around the college and helping them settle into University life.

| We would like Volunteers to give as much time as they can during the Pathfinding week. Most volunteers will be volunteering for at least four full days (in 4 hour shifts during the week). |

| What if I can't make a certain time / give a lot of time? Back to top |
| We will be flexible around a volunteer's time commitments, but once volunteers have committed themselves to be available at a certain place and time it will be assumed that they will uphold their commitment. |
| Where can I be based for volunteering? Back to top |
| Volunteers will be on College sites, at the Student Hub in Davies Street and leading tours/activities around London. This gives volunteers the chance to do different activities around London. Travel, refreshments and food is covered under expenses dependant on the number of hours you are volunteering for. |
| What will I be doing? Back to top |
| Volunteers will take on a range of different roles helping to provide information and advice to new students, leading students on tours and events, encouraging students to get involved, helping with events and stewarding for events and key roles within the BIG fayre. |

| No previous experience required. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are essential! |

| We ask that you have at least 1 years experience of the University so you can answer questions for new students. |

| You will learn much about the Students' Union and University through this role, as well as getting to know a large number of other students. We run a number of development sessions throughout the year for our volunteers and you are welcome to come along to these, they are free. You will be able to find details through the volunteer e-newsletter that you will receive by becoming a volunteer. You will also be eligible to take part in the Big Thank You (our end of year event for all our volunteers) and the Little Thank You's that take place throughtout the year in recognition of your contribution. |

| Let us know you're interested by filling in the form on the web, all volunteers are required to attend training. Training sessions will be held during the 3rd term, in the holidays and just before Pathfinding Week (you only need to attend one). Once you have completed your training you will receive your official Pathfinding clothing that is yours to keep once the week is completed. |
